a teardrop can hold so very many things

a person may cry tears of joy after someone special sings

at times some people cry & mourn for their dead

while others just stand there & stare off ahead.

a teardrop forms in the cradle of your eye

and all of sudden you just want to sit & cry

You saw this little kid get beat up yesterday

but you couldnt help but stand there & then you ran away.

the tears start to flow

& slide down your cheek

and you cant help but remember

how that little boy looked so weak.

when you saw those eyes of fear

you had this urge to comfort him & whisper

"itz ok now, dear"

and now you dont know what to do

but you know, you dont want that to happen to you.
