I heard a whisper

I heard a whisper,
on the wind,
a promise of a better day
and I followed.

My gun metal black rifle,
my new found friend...
as my ole friends lay slain

My shattered vision
for a better way
a more peaceful dat

I heard a wisper, 
 and it went away...
 leading me to battle
 and a crimson decay
