time to move on

so im just sitting here
thinking about how things were
and i wish i could go back there
back when things made sense
before all your silly pretense
and well formed defense

when you didnt hide feelings for me
or confuse me so easy
back when we used to be happy
i dont know whats going on between us
and i dont like making a fuss
but youre more confusing than confucius

and as i remember that day
and remember the things i used say
i know i no longer feel that way
because those feelings are gone
and i think i can finally move on
cuz ive found something to build upon,

i dont need you as long as i have me
and its that thought that makes me free
free from you and what we used to be
so i think im going to go now
and hopefully i'll find a way how
to make this life great. ciao
