In a Moment

I miss you so much.

The feeling when I first wake up.

I think of you and smile,

Then a sense of sadness overcomes me

As a realize today will be yet another day

In which you’re absent.

I go through the motions of life,

Class, studying, work.

But all seems worthless

Without you beside me.

I count the hours until a familiar ring

Graces my ears.

I hear your voice,

It makes me smile.

And hope tomorrow.

Won’t take as long as today.
