What a Frustrating World

You're saying "global warming is a cycle" and the ice age is upon our great grandchildren, but what happens when there's no ice or snow to freeze the world over? What happens when the bacteria and pollution in our oxygen deteriates the soul and the we cannot breathe? Toxic chemicals are our new found meals, while the obese and annorexic fight over their weight, throwing up their insides into the toilets and sending the remains into the nearest river where the sea-creatures are just trying to live, running away from another area of the world we humans have infected what wasn't given to us.

The sick are dieing from now and then, you say "It's all a cycle of life" and the next day your mother dies from heart disease of second hand smoking, diabetes, cancer or she was just too miserable without the love of anyone. And the doctor's are keeping your money: Working for an organization that denies patients whose only hope is the treatment they've been denied simply because they don't have any money to provide the chemicals produced.

The sad are crying, the happy don't even understand why. People are killing themselves over what they can't solve and they're deemed cowards. Just another label for our categorization world of power. The depressed found no hope, now what's to say of their breath other than "well they can't handle it." It's survival of the fittest? No concern for those who can't help themselves and need a second hand.

Second handed victims against several packs and gangs murdering a defenseless one for their own pleasure, misplaced hate, oh what a goddamn disgrace some of us have turned out to be. America's greed - coupled with blind citizens, turn a blind eye to the terror all around us. While the sensitive people crying over lives being lost are deemed to be weak and superficial, let's excuse the ones who have care and concern for human existence. "Survival of the fittest" is quickly becoming "Destroy each other in the least amount of time."

As we know it - governments all around the globe are burning the midnight oil for a couple bucks, tearing up the nature foundations that we have tooken control over for our homes, electricity, and personal comfort. Sleeping in the death of a thousand trees that were as alive as you and me. Yeah, rotting up the ground where animals are found: Destroying their homes and habitations. While the equivalent in the human species is frowned upon for simply living any way they can in our backyard. Oh what's the reason for anybody looking down on each other?

Force of power, and dick sizing competitions. A couple friends, now by the millions, getting drunk off their asses and shooting other life forms that have provided us food and a beautiful spectacle. Skin the animal, skin the animal, and skin the animal again as it bleeds onto your skin. You say "Woo! What a joy!" while you're slaughtering a mother's child and a child's father for a few hours of feeding your fat-gut stomach or decorating your outfits - and I can't believe what pathetic humans we have turned out in this existence. While I'm sitting here thinking "the roles need to be reversed: Animal slaughters the human and laughs at the crying, dieing species." and there isn't a reason to give a damn about the mindless fucking humans who kill for simple pleasure. It's so hard to give a damn about their problems in life and who they're trying to be.

Now I know it's useless to live in hate, for some things I feel hopeless for and cannot change - it's easier to turn away your head and walk in the opposite direction. I know there's no person to blame when I could be living my life, and now I wonder and wonder and wonder how the hell could anyone murder another life for their own pleasure? Sometimes I'd like to turn the wheel and put the humans in the animal's shoes so they may be slaughtered, tortured, and dieing a fucking horrible death in agony and pain. Now you have to remember there are humans parading around their own joy, doing the same god damn thing to their neighbor and that person they do not like.

Well I feel so god damn helpless not being able to save the voiceless species who hunt and turn and kill each other, I'm speaking of the wildlife animals you cannot see, their facing extinction as the years roll by, and all the mainstream media cares about is what celebrity did what, while the same-basic citizen cares about how they're going to make it through life with their Mp3 players, paintings, musical inspirations and car-dealers, televisions and magazines, thinking "No one cares about me" because a little lonely person can not handle a few years being alone: Being able to express their pain, being able to cry, being able to have people to talk to (except for strangers, who laugh at the person in need simply because they don't know each other) while the mammals on the other side of the river are fleeing in survival from the same God damn people trying to cope with the death of a loved one, saying "It's not fair! Why did he/she have to die?", and at the same time they're contemplating the death of animal to ease their joy and "live their life" oh what the hell is wrong with our world?
Oh what the hell is wrong with our world.
And why isn't the entire human existence struggling to change?
We must like destroying ourselves and other species
who have inhabited this planet long before our race.
I wonder how people feel about the knowledge that one day
human existence will cease to completely be.
In the grand scheme of things: We will be no more.
 Not a single human.
 Not a single animal.
 Not a single tree.
 Not a single cloud.
 Not a single sun.
 Not a single moon.
Oh one day, one day everything we've helped to build and destroy
will have absolutely no life whatsoever. Existence and life as we
knew it won't be nothing more than a period of the universe,
one little speck that once occupied one little particle of dust
 in outer space.
I wonder how other people feel knowing human existence,
animal existence, and the nature of existence will not exist.

jennaferz this is awesome and so, so true. i dont know what the world is coming to or how it can possibly get any worse...but i know theres a way that it can. its so sad that there are only a few people who really realize the truth of this and even fewer who, like you, have the words to describe it. this is amazingg.

hpriestess Altruism & a graceful, grateful attitude have been rapidly dwindling for centuries. Why must humans take more than what they need & never give back? I'll tell you why - because technology gives & gives - & now humans are lazy. Why work & be thankful for the harvest when you can walk by & grab it in plentiful doses? I wrote a paper on this a few months ago. I like your point of view too - it adds a little more dimension in a few areas
