What are friends for?
So someone can always put you down?
They say they are your friends
But when you need them, are never around.
The ones who will stab you in the back
And pretend everything is fine.
The ones who speak harsh words
And leave you there crying.
The ones that want you for what you have
And not for who you are.
The ones that say nothing when you say hi.
The ones that push you out of the way
Then tell you to go to hell and die.
The ones you think are friends when they're not.
What are friends for?
