Perversions of Honor

Down on your knees,
look up to me,
I have a gun to your head,
So you better learn my fucking name!

I can take your life with a pull of my finger,
no time for you to linger,
listen to what I say,
do what I tell you to do!

There is no honor left within us,
we are weak and crumble before death,
Humanity bows before the scythe of death,
and the pitchfork of the Devil! 

With the decay of years,
our honor and dignity has faded,
we find pride and arrogance easier,
we are not ready to die for our cause.

Everyone bows before pain,
fear seeps into their brain,
tears down their eyes,
they will believe their killer's lies.

Perversions of honor,
we are descending below animals,
we are below dogs fighting for raw meat,
we kill so that we live.

Nobody's ready to give everything up,
we all kneel before pain,
we will gladly trade our accomplishments for vain,
you cannot regret if you are slain.

Perversions of dignity,
tears seep from our ancestors,
as they see within the horrors,
of our own psyche!

We bow before pain,
we heed before Death, 
we cower before Devil,
take a look into my mind,

the fear is leaving you blind,
I feel hate,
for everything you take,
oh so cowardly.

We are nothing,
we have lost all sense of honor and dignity,
we gladly trade another's life to save ours,
we have fallen below desperate beasts,

we straggle to make each other our slaves,
no honor no dignity,
only lies before my eyes!
We are left as the lowly meatbags we are!
