The day I told you

I loved you

I wasn't lying

It was all true.

You left me

Standing there to think

And you watched me

Slowly sink.

Out of my life

I watched the colors fade

Without you,

I felt so afraid.

I should've seen your face

In a masquerade

How I felt

So unbelievably betrayed.

A couple of months ago,

I have gotten over you

I am going to

Start over new.

Unlike you,

I wore my heart on my sleeve

But now you can watch me

Slowly leave.
