Waiting For An Angel

Views (57) Other Created on 3-10-08 Flag

In an empty home with empty walls,

The second hand rises, and then it falls.

Soaked with smoke and alcohol,

This isn't life, no not at all.

A selfish prayer with no reply,

My voice it echoes, and then it dies.

A little piece of me somewhere inside

Swears to me, this isn't life.

And so I wonder to myself,

Who's to save me from this Hell?

Beauty and truth, a sweet angel,

I'll wait for you, and nothing else.

101091 Wow. Absolutely beautiful. I could feel the pain, and the slight hope of an Angel coming to rescue you. Great job. I love it.
