I see the world through tortured eyes,
It makes it all too clear.
Do you have the time to hear my cries
Before I disappear?
Too many know pain before they find love,
And live forever scarred.
If you are blessed then do not judge
Those who fall apart.
To those who live without any hope,
Praying for an end...
I dedicate these words to show
You're far from alone, my friend.
I've shed my share of blood and tears
With no shoulder offered.
Faith will fade when you scream for years
With no word from a Father.
I see the world through tortured eyes,
It makes it all too clear.
Take the time to hear my cries
Before I disappear.
