The truth is so far gone
That I cannot remember
A right turn from a wrong,
A Christian from a Sinner.
We've got this world so twisted,
Good and evil are intertwined.
A child lies with wrists slit,
Another thorn upon the vine.
Choke on smoke and drown
In an intoxicated dream,
They tell you with God you're found,
But the end is seldom seen.
Tell me what to trust in
When our world trades lives for cash
And everybodys sucked in
By those same errors of our past.
The truth is so far gone
That I cannot tell
A right turn from a wrong,
Paradise from Hell.
