One By One |
Ohio and You
The moon was rising snow was melting
Nothing but interstate it was a hard drive too
and saying goodbye to you
Stayed in a motel left by noon
thought about going back I already missed you
Broke down in Athens hid the fear on my face
Missed the exit on 65 trying to get to Pace
Nine hours from Tennessee
Interstate Pensacola 60 miles
I cant see the lights from my tear stained face
and thoughts of me and you
We knew I had to go
There was business I had to do
If I left misunderstood I'm sorry
guess I thought you knew
Whatever it takes Ill make it back to Ohio
and you whatever it takes.
