One By One |
Christmas Is Almost Here
The city Sparkles children Gleam with joy
As they Ask Saint Nick for all sorts of toys
While parents Search they hurry to Find
The most latest gadgets those few of a kind
Grandpa's Smoking a stogie Grandma's not quiet Aware
The Crisp feel of Christmas Swirls in the air
Papa Rekindles the fire
Marshmalllows Melt in a mug
Mama Serves everyone as Grandpa's Huggin his chug
Dad Whispers guiet I Hear something amiss
Perhaps Santa's Reindeer Imagine this
Time Passes Slow children Anxiously Play
The clock on the wall Counts the moments Away
Till the morning Awaites by the family that day.
