Castles in the sand she built beyond the coastle shore
The life she made was nestled there above the ocean floor
Flowers she had planted sweltered in the heat
Sounds of childrens laughter.. voices...never to repeat

The King no Maiden longer dwelled
behind the castle gates
Their fortress once strong
had met it's final fate

Castles in the sand once standing in a time now spent
Castles that could not withstand
The pounding and the roar
