and blonde hair
the media says its right
skinny figures
and tight skin
an image all the guys like

a nip here
and a tuck there
a little lypo
die your hair

botox
injections
and chemical peels
they are making these people
something not real

they make girls like me
and girls like you
hate how we look
and change the things that we do

crash diets, anorexics
bulimics, depression
suicide, surgerys
modifications and agression!

skinny is in
and fat is out
when you look in the mirror
your butt hangs out

young girls wearing makeup
and little minni skirts
big beautiful women crying
because the word fat really hurts

old women who look young
aging gracefully with "help"
little girls looking old
and will one day need self-help

if you dont look perfect
then you arent good enough
if you arent how they say
then just do a bunch of stuff

change yourself
and be what they want
and who knows what happens then
you might be pretty
but you will never happy
living in your own skin

our self-essteems are shattered
and its all un-necessairy
we are beautiful the way we are
stop caring what they think
don't look at your tv
just the mirrior to find a star
