stand up to make a change

so much pain
with nothing to gain

so much sorrow
some love could i borrow?

we hurt
and cry

some lived
most died

all of the war
and all of the fights

what has our world come to on this night?
we decide when to tun off the light?
when others should say good night?

what makes that just?
we are so inhumane

so out from the cannons we heard a bust
while people are running around insane

so what do we do
to make this go away?

i am only one person

i know i cant end all of the pain and sorrow
but it takes one person to start a new tomorrow
