2nd Time Lucky
Always thinking,Always hurting,Why did he leave,Why aren't I learning? It was only once before,But I should've known,Why didn't I turn,The signs were shown... But their I was,For a second time,A man, pathetic man,Taking what was mine.And there after,From fourteen and on,It set in concrete,Each man would be wrong. But he wasn't all thoughtless,For he did give,A small baby,That would not live. And with that done,He went away,Not looking back,To where I lay.Almost 3 months,3 months gone,Before he heard,But did not mourn.Instead he hit,And then he ran,Leaving me alone,He was no man.I bled a little,The following day,I was sad but relieved...The baby went away.But it still dawns,It remains in my head,That the boy left me,Almost for dead...1st time was a dud,
The 2nd time was just lucky
