Casket

It's dark and wet, I feel the cold breeze pass right by me. I feel the presence of death waiting.

I stand up and feel the walls that are surrounded all around me, it feels as if a hallway.

I hear the sound of water dripping from the walls, and the whistling from the breeze.

I walk a little further as my hands slide across the walls, not seeing anything, hoping I won't fall.

This place feels corrupt and destroyed in every way. It feels like i've been walking forever, there's no way I can still be here.

Suddenly I see a dull red light at the end of this tunnel, and I hear the popping sound of flames.

I finally get to the end and I look around the corner, there sat a casket on a table in an octagon shaped room with torches in every corner.

I kept my back up against the wall, in horror of what I was seeing. The casket was open but could not see any body.

I walk a little closer, but suddenly heard a scream and I felt like I was being watched, and so I looked around to see.

No sign of any presence  could be seen in the room, but I looked back at the casket and my own reflection grew.
