A Forgotten Dream

It's snowing outside as I look through my window. The water on the glass just reminds me of my pain.

I feel lost in this world and have no one to guide me. It's scary of the things that can be so frightning.

It was just a year ago when I felt happy and glad, to be on this earth, not crying or sad.

I've cried so hard that I've almost fell down. What am I talking about? I am on the ground.

I close the blinds shut as I go back to bed, and pray to god that I won't wake up again.

Everything that's happened, it's happened so fast. There's no way in the world I could forget about my past.

I wish I was dead all the time anymore. I've just been so weak, so tired and sore.

I feel like i've lost all hope in my life, and the moon shines on me, so brightly tonight.

I look to the sky as I see something fly, it was white with wings and began to sing.

So celestial and calming with words that cheered me up, then it turns around and hands me a shiny golden cup.

It says drink this if you do, all your fears will be gone, no worries nor pain, just happiness to gain.

As I grip the cup and tilt it up, the angel flys away. I yell wait don't go! Be here! Please stay!

But then I see an explosion, so loud and so near. And then the moon starts to melt and looks like a tear.

And the corona dimmed down as the moon turned into water, and it got dark and scary and the world got hotter.

Demons and dragons were flying all around, as the fire burned upon the ground.

A citadel of hate was upon the air, no life, no love, I was the only one there.

My bed, my house was no where to be seen. All I could think of was to loudly scream.

I called for the angel to come back and save me, But all I could notice were the demons breathing.

They grabbed my hand and pulled me away, And took me to hell where i'd remain to stay.

My breathing stopped but before they could notice, I heard a beeping and away went the fortress.

I opened my eyes as water poored out, and felt the sheets that my body was around.

My bed, my house, all of it's here! I looked outside, no fire, no tear.

It was morning time, it had all been a dream. But all I could think of was the angel's sing.

Just as I got up something cought my eye. It was the cup the angel gave me earlier that night.

It was real! It happened! It's all true! I did have guidence, I just never knew.
