Feelings

My heart contains feelings for you, it's just the fact that i feel so blue.

 Everyday I struggle with fear, to hope that you will still be here.

All day long I deal with depression, and hope that one day I won't have this obsession.

My feelings for you are so tremendous, that I know our love won't leave within us.

I wake up in the mornings to find you're not there, lying beside me and playing with my hair.

I sit up straight as I turn on the light, and wish not to sleep alone another night.

It's so dark and cold when i'm here by myself. I'm like an empty book that sits on my shelf.

My faith, my love I give is so strong, why do I keep feeling like i'm doing something wrong?

I lay my head down as i'm ready for sleep, and close my eyes and not take another peep.

I have dreams of you, so many a night, and there you are, right there in my sight.

 Holding my hand, holding it tight, i dare not let go, not this time, not tonight.

But as to my surprise, I wake up with sound. Hearing the alarm clock as it fell to the ground.

Tears stream down to my face as I cry. As I role around and ask myself why.

 Why does it have to be like this? Why are there always things in our way? I guess i'll just have to wait another day.

The days go by without seeing your face, it's driving me crazy, I can't take this place.

I remember the time when you kissed my nose. Don't ever forget, i'll never let go.

And when you held me so tight. I felt nothing else mattered. I felt loved and cared for, not alone nor shattered.

I'm easily broken and fragile for sure, but if there's one thing I know, it's that our love is pure.

I feel the empty space beside me on my bed, it seems i'm sleeping alone again. Don't worry my dear love, I'm thinking of you and I know that we will end up making it through.
