The Slaughter of the Autumnal Equinox |
The Slaughter of the Autumnal Equinox
It moves through the night at terrifying speeds With it the intentions of horrifying deeds It tears you apart to satisfy its needs Leaving your corpse to fertilize the trees There it is staring at your filthy soul There it is you can’t even breath at all When it’s done, it might keep your bone white skull Take it home, mount it on its bloody wall Dark metal eyes, black leather death Squirming in the dirt you take your last breath A bone white freak wearing chain mail mesh He leaves you there for months, maggots eat your flesh As the air it chills, he makes his kills The bones they break, the blood it spills Each year it hunts and never stops The slaughter of the autumnal equinox

| Such vivid and brutal imagery. I like the flow of this piece. Well done. :) |
