Shaking frightfully

And I have been chosen

To walk the dark side

Far from the light

Oh in your sorrowed eyes

My life reflects

Where I turned away

Into the autumn rain

Drowned back in all my shame

Wash my fears all away

This time I’ll pray

So fall autumn rain

To blinded to find you

So I’ll escape you

Farther away

Far from your gaze

And all you’ve told me

I must remember

But not today

So fall autumn rain

Wash away all that is sane

Take with you all of this pain

I’ll feel lighter some how

Brighter from now on

Lost in dismal gray

So fall autumn rain.
