Such a Shame(I'm even posting this...)

The family next door complains
of moans and groans from his luxuroius double bed
I wonder if they've heard
It's been three months since they found him dead

You'd think there'd be such mourning
For oh, it's such a shame
But not one person seems to care
And no one will take the blame

Noises come from his deserted apartment
They penetrate the dark night
Maybe he came back for revenge
Maybe he's trying to start a fight

Prostitutes and hookers
Drug dealers and thiefs
That's all he ever knew
All he ever cared to meet

No one dares speak up for him
Will he go undefended?
He was just another person
Will his killer go unaprehended?

Oh, but knows nothing of what people thought
He probably never even cared
And now that he has a second chance
He'll punish all those hurtful stares

For no one deserves to be unloved
and no one should withstand such hate
