bending the rules
waiting to be told
i'm just another fool
cautiously reckless
circumspect insanity
forgetting i'm supposed
to be a part of humanity
lost to the world
finding my senses
breaking down walls
only to put up fences
dragging it out
i need this to last
my mind is failing
i'm going too fast
i toe the line
and get pushed back
i'm the only one
to pick up slack
stating a name
that's not my own
sneaking a glimpse
at what i've been shown
tasteless reminders
of things i've lost interest in
slowly going crazy?
guilty as sin
