The Survivor at Heart

The fear of failure,
ravishing my soul.
Terrorizing my mind,
making every minute take its toll.
Though I shall never,
accept my factor of defeat.
My body overcomes my mind,
never accepting retreat.
So I stand tall and strong,
striving for a better ending
To one the soul is all that lives on,
but whom knows where lies the beginning.
My body and soul,
may not go on forever.
My heart will continue,
making minds of future ones endeavor.
Just remember on judgement day,
when I do depart.
That my I am not forgotten,
because I am The Survivor at Heart.
