Ode To "06"

From the beginning of the year
My life has changed me to have no fear.
I started the year with the loss of a love,
ending the year with just hopes of another with prayers from above.
I cherish the things that "06" has brought me
I have learned pain comes with a small fee.
My heart was broke from the start of January,
The pain carried through my soul till the end of Febuary.
Then some friends showed me the way
They taught me love is lost and move on to another day
Through March I felt alone,
Then someone new came along.
In April I saw new light,
to where love pain was no longer in sight.
I no longer had the fear of being one,
I became closer with friends and had more fun.
In May my creativeness got carried away,
I enjoyed my life but it made me pay.
When June came around I once was again depressed.
My friends stuck around and kept me out of mess.
Happiness came in the month of July
depression was over and I no longer wanted to cry.
August brought me news I could not believe,
something was coming I strived to achieve.
In September my new life began,
All I did was worked and studied the best I can.
All October's challenges were pretty rough,
Only option was to stay tough.
In November feeling of accomplishment was finally true.
For that thriving temptation was overwhelmingly through.
At last December is finally here after months numbered of eleven.
Now it is time to get ready for the mysterious year of "07"
