Nobody Knows
Nobody knows everything about me
Except for you, you know it all
Every tear, every fear, every thought, every flaw
Nobody knows how i stay up late at night
Trembling to myself
Having you out of sight
A tear rolls down my ice cold cheek
As my mind races with
Many questions beginning with the phrase "What if?"
Nobody knows I secretly wish my life would end
Letting me meet you
On the hills in Heaven
Nobody knows how I long for those nights
On the hills, under the stars
Where everything's alright
Nobody knows what i'd give for one more kiss
One more hug, one more smile
The things I truly miss
How much "I love you"s meant to me
How i smiled so very wide
How you softly stroked my hair
As I lay there on my side
Nobody knows what I go through
Each and every day
How much i scream, how much I hurt
How much i truly pray
It's hard to explain the ways you helped me out
The ways you comforted
How you'd smile when I'd pout
When people hear me sigh
They don't know you're on my mind
That I'm thinking about your touch
The way your hand fit into mine
Nobody knows how I really sleep
Dreaming about you
Dreaming about your love
For it being so very true
For you still hold the largest piece
Of my fragile heart
And I'm sure you've seen other guys
Break it and tear it apart
Many guys have wanted me
Many guys have tried
And I'm sure you've seen
That one very special guy
He was the only one
That had succeeded
For he took my breath away
Which I desperately needed
But even he could not replace
Your warm, sweet embrace
What I speak is true
My heart belongs to you
But here I am, once again
Drowning in my sorrow
Wait to see if my hated self
Makes it to tomorrow
And nobody knows the words
Being said between the lines
Our hearts fitting together
Yours and mine
And nobody knows
Through the eyes in which I see
How much I really do miss you
Being here with me...
