you never understand me poeticly
ill spell this out figurativly
just follow closely

and dont let go

if i walk silently
alone, into the wood
what do you think id see?
moss drenched trunk beds
canopy shaded light
damp, suprisingly warm
waiting in the woods

i hold my breath

when the drums start to beat
how have i gotten here?
the beating getting louder
frightened i to find
this beating heart is mine

a sparkle, a dig, a treasure
buried in the snow
left, un protected
i take it, hold it,
