Path to God

Your child is leaving the path.

She is turning away and walking fast

Her mother, your child

Your child is know with you, will her child follow?

I wonder why she turns from you

She once proclaimed you lord!

Will she turn back and go back upon her path

Your son has grabbed her before she takes her final step away

And so he brangs her back slowly, on the path she once ran upon.

And your daughter calls you lord again

And she calls you father

For she has found her way back to you

On the backroads of life.
