The Love that Walked Away

It was raining down in the town,

When my heart broke in two,

And I watched you walk away from me.

And for a moment all I saw was you.

I saw you smiling up at heaven,

I saw you dancing the cha cha with me,

I saw you in your old pair of blue jeans,

And I saw your eyes smiling up at me.

But them I heard the baby crying,

And I had to jump into action again,

I had to take control of my emotions,

I had to change the babies diaper,

I had to be the mommy and the daddy.

All because you went away,

And left me behind with the baby and the bills.

But still for that moment all I say was you.

I saw you as you walkind away from all your respondibilities.

As it rained down on the town,

I saw you walk away and leave me,

With your bills and your baby girl.
