You left me thinking of your smile and of the way your eyes shined.  

You left me thinking of your face and how it tilted to the side.        

You left me all alone thinking of you.                                                

You left me nothing, but an empty soul and an empty heart, with tears of grief I was filled.

I couldn't stop loving you.                                                               

I couldn't find a balance.                                                                 

And most importantly I couldn't find another man who lived up to you.

 Who lived up to your smile and the grace with which you walked.          

I can't find another like you.                                                   

Another who completes me.                                                            

I am looking so hard, but can't find another you.

sweetbeth87 Wow. This is actually how I felt the first time my heart was broken. Life moves on though. I found someone much better than him. You will too in time. Just give yourself time to heal in the mean time. My wounds never healed completely but they closed in time. Great poem! ♥
