Looking back

As I turned around

I saw where I came from

The people I left

And the ones that I never cared for

But the ones I do

Always remained at my

Side

Throughout these hard times

Looking back

I see how much I progressed

Becoming stronger in heart

And expanding further into the future

Seeing the ones

That later on died

I remember how they made me laugh

And also how they made me cry

Never will they be replaced

Always floating about in my heart

Rest in peace

Thou will never be forgotten

Looking down

At how I was taking life

Pushing through the sad moments

Entering back into the good

Remembering the thoughts I used to have

Of looking up to the rest

That I always used to idolize

Starting to smile

As they were only childish phases

I laughed at the past

And realized how rediculous

On how I acted

But then again

That was my ownself

I never changed

All I did was take a step through lifes fast lane

And entered through another phase

Someday in the future

I'll look back again

Once more will I smile and laugh

With tears in my eyes

About how I act

Only should I realize

That this is what you call
