one drink, two drinks

it wont be long
'til i'm on the floor
five drinks, six drinks
seven drinks, Eight
you can tell i'm drunk
i'm hitting on my mates
nine drinks, ten
i've had too much
and ive turned into
such a soft touch
ten pound, twenty
i've already spent
before i know it
over £100 is already lent
to all of my friends
so they can be like me
make fools of ourselves
and act like we're free!
we all dance crazy
and act like goons
and keep on drinking
'til the next afternoon!
we act all stupid
and say forbidden things
do things we regret
and meanwhile we sing
that we will always be together
but we know that isn't true
when they we all split up
i shall be so blue!
and once again i'll drink
'til i pass out on the floor
and i'll cry to myself
and wake up with my head sore!
