.....the music box in my storm......

sadly....slowly....softly

the old music box whos melody i cannot hear

over the raging storm in my heart

its power immense

its light blinding

and, its clap deafening

the box's music struggles on

its voice slowly being swallowed

by the hands of time

and the storm of my heart

it dreams of one day

where its skies are bright

its melody is heard

and the thunder to be

forever silenced

will its prayers be answered....

or will its voice play forever

....unheard

.....unloved

......unappreciated

will its voice ever be heard

over the storm

in my heart?
