Always end with "Sir"

You never let happiness cross my face,

People search for the smile but can never find a trace.

I don't blame them for looking, it's a rare thing to see,

ever since you took away all things good for me.

Being so young, it was impossible to tell,

what the future would bring, and the trials you'd fail.

I'm sorry to say, I gave up on you,

But if truth be told, you gave up on me too.

"I'm sorry for being lazy and not amounting to her,"

Isn't that what you want me to say, and always end with "sir"?

All I really want is to prove myself, and show you that i care,

because i still hold dear the memories that our whole family shares.

But now you want my respect for someone you never loved,

But instead i say, "shut up you gold digger," and curse with a straight forward "fuck."

Atleast that's what i want to say, and try to end with "damn her."

But instead i still live in fear, and always keep answering sir.
