If I were to die...

If I were to die… would the world stop,

Would it take a breathe just for me,

Would it hold on clinging to my heart,

Would it take time to breathe?

Or would I be forgotten…

Along with all my days,

That were spent to remember the forgotten,

And all their dying ways…

Will I become part of the dying,

The ones the world slowly lets go of…

How they slowly perish,

A cry for their relinquished love.

Because the world just doesn’t care,

When the beautiful lose their treasure,

The one thing that kept them loved…

The one thing that kept them from any human measure.

So even if I’m beautiful now,

Or have the best voice or best mind,

The world will let me go…

They can find more of my kind.

But there is one who will love me,

Even after I lose my breathe…

I know this because he has promised,

A promise of love for life and in death.
