no hero
who do you have when your alone
who is it that helps you fight your fears
what do you do when you cry for help
and only darkness and shadows appear
it is not your fault your so afraid
the heros to save us are nothing but faces
people put on our television screen
with fancy speeches, in high priced places
no super hero is there to save you from the dark
no muscular man to rescue you from sleep
no mighty woman to tuck you into bed
no trusty sidekick to help you in your dreams
its about time that i wake up
and stop wishing for a hero to save me
i must rely on myself from now on
and for that, ive been more together latly
