Sorrow's Path

What have I done to end up here?

What have I done to envoke this wrath?

She is upset and angry, down her cheek rolls a tear.

The sign reads; sorrow’s path.

The love we had

Now is no more.

I feel so sad

As I close the door.

Two lives I’ve wrecked,

Not just one.

That was the effect,

The damage cannot be undone.

What was I thinking?

Why did I cheat?

Now she is alone, crying.

And I retreat.

Things between us are definitely through.

We must move on and try to forget.

We must start over, our lives brand new.

This pain we feel we cannot let

Control our lives the way it hath.

We must get off this lonely road.

This lonely raod called sorrow’s path.
