From the peaceful valleys of the east coast

To the barren lands of the middle east

What hurts to change the most

Is leaving everything you ever known behind

From the family and friends you spent days

And the luxury's and perks that you take for granite

For i am willing to lose it

So my fellow Americans can enjoy it

For the eyes that peer from the doorways

Do not seem so innocent

What knowledge lyes behind them could cost a life

Boxes and garbage seem so dangerous

Yet back home you would not even notice

Every second seems a lifetime

As I pray to make it another day

Sounds of destruction surround me

Surviving seems a thousand miles away

What lurks in the darkness only god will see

For the cowards show no faces

Just so they could kill another day

Fighting something so invisible

But there damage is so visable

For an respectable enemy  deserves no tital

They are the evil of all evil

They deserve no credit

Yet I am here to defend the innocent

Always faithful i will proceed

For we have the power of pride

And the respect and honor of many

The courage and training to destroy a nation

They can be invisible

For the United States Marine Corps

Were Invincible

cornnutsrcool I love this. And I admire anyone in the Corps. I hope to join that family someday. Some spelling errors, but that doesnt matter, the point comes across loud and clear. Keep it up.
