Eternal Darkness

Letting go to the overwhelming demons

Put forth my soul beneath the gavil of life

As i watch my mind crushed by the pressures of reallity

My Sanity slowly loses its grip on life

Cloudy memories leaves me grasping for something to hang on to

Yet left unoticed 6 feet beneath the ground

Not even a stone to mark my eternal home

Maggots feed on my flesh for there is no will to stop them

Quickly family and friends move on and forget the past

what was once an internal love

But now a hollow thought of what was once alive

forever resting my head upon the pillow of death

Sleeping to swallow the regrets of what was not accomplished

Wishing I had just one more chance to say goodbye

Receive a name for myself and complete my plans

For one last breath The light flashes and I realize

That once was a peaceful halo above my head

Is now a grey ring of sadness

Fallowed by a reaper from the darkness

stalked like a gazelle by a blood thirst lion

taken down through the grip of its claws

the Demise of my heart procedes with no stop in sight

the neverending pain buildes its nest in my chest

And like a river in a drought I cease to be
