Crumbling

I am collapsing inside

Feeling as though I am about to die

Wanting the dream I can see

Unable to make it be

Stumbling over my own convictions

Not wanting to have the restrictions

To cast how I feel out to the world

And not care if it would cause anyone discord

But it is simply not the way I am

So I sit and suffer in silence again and again

Holding to the dream in my heart

Hiding the crumbling apart
