Right Where I Am |
Earthen Path
The wind swept the harden hill
But I sat upon it still
Looking down the earthen path
Waiting while the hours pass
I long to see my hearts desire
And feel again the warmth of his fire
Know the pleasure of his kiss upon my lips
And not simply the memory of this
Though I know he must not constantly by me stay
As the world calls and he must away
I can still live in longing for the time
Waiting for when our bodies entwine
I am not complete when he is gone
My soul travels with him when he journeys along
My patience is tried as I remain
Upon hardened hill, looking down earthen path for him again
No comments yet, be the first to say something.
