Right Where I Am |
Can You Love Me
Would you rather know the size of my brain or my chest
Can you give the societal idiosyncrasies a rest
I may not be the most beautiful girl
But I do know what I want in this world
For one, a passionate flame that you light
Someone that can hold me through the stormiest night
My faults may be one, they may be many
You are not here to be my judge and jury
I watch as men are like piranhas to a blood letting wound
All from a pretty face and scent of sweet perfume
What value do you truly hold to a pretty face
How far do you look past the surface
Breast, hair, legs, a**, skin
All will eventually fail in the end
Our minds are what will remain
The thoughts, memories and emotions we create each day
I am seeking something tangible and sincere
Not just a convenience because I happen to be here
Are you the one who can push past the stupidity I see
Can you hold on and can you love me
