For a moment I thought better of you

I actually believed all that you said was true

Now I find it was all deceit

Honesty something from me you keep

Hw little you must think of my heart

To rip and shred it so carelessly apart

You are a cold and callused man

And to think for you I was willing to make a stand

I stood up for you when I should have not

Only more pain and misery to me was brought

I had thought there was some good in you

Obviously I was wrong there too

I have tried and failed

Now the time is for me to bail

I will no longer play your childish game

No longer will I carry any blame

Until now I was blinded by love and your lies

But it has shown to be a frail disguise

The truth has come about

I cannot cry anymore or even pout

You have burned me well

Find someone to hear the stories you tell

I am done
