Am I just a mistress
Behind closed doors to be undressed
Never to truly be at your side
Always having my emotions to hide
Or am I yours and yours alone
One you gladly to Mom and Dad take home
Proud to stand with me anywhere
Contented to in any company draw me near
I do not know where I stand with you
I am unable to decipher what is true
For I am lost inside confusion
Wanting to know if this is real or delusion
Only you can tell me what I need to know
So that I may know the way to go
I am begging of you on my knees
Tell me what I am to you please
