Our World Will Prevail

It started off alright,
Went to sleep every night.
Not a worry in the world,
Shh. Go to sleep, not another word.

Why cant we go back?
Seems like we got off track.
Something soon went wrong.
Oh how it's been so long.

I remember waking up to snow,
Frost frozen on the window.
I remember the snow ball fight,
Drinking hot cocoa and staying up all night.

I hadn't seen a snowflake since,
So much heat it makes me wince.
The hot cocoa is getting cold,
Aging, slowly, stale and old.

But there's always time,
It's our time to shine.
You can do it, I swear to you.
Make an effort, We could start over new.

Our world will prevail!
We're floating like a ship without a sail.
But there's still time to fix this mess,
we can stay afloat and be above the rest.
