Through With Love

I've had a past with love,but once again I tried,

And once again more inside I died.

I never knew that the boy I loved so close,

The one I held dear,

Would forever fill my heart with fear.

I thought we had all the time in the world,

But I was so wrong

And now I have to deal with the pain I thought I'd never feel for so long.

I knew that love could hurt,I knew it caused so much pain,

I also knew that it all went in vain.

But I thought I was wrong,I thought it was only because of past strife

But all it did was prove me more right.

I now realize,that love will never be a part of me,

I don't know why it took me so long to see

But I'm done with it now,I know I don't need it to live

Because for me,pain was all that it could give.
