Heartbroken

I love being with you,I feel so alive

When I'm with you I feel good inside.

I was so sure it was just you and me

You were the only one though,that I could see.

When I was with you,I couldn't see anyone else in the world.

But as we grew closer,the harsh truth unfurled.

I saw you with another woman,that was when I understood it all was a lie.

After that I felt like I could just die.

I was so full of sadness,so feel of pain.

I often was crying so I'd walk in the rain.

Never opening up to anyone,locking my feelings up forever.

But all this did was hurt me more than ever.

I was so alone,and couldn't tell a soul.

I couldn't help myself for my feelings were in control.

My heart was heavy,and my words were unspoken.

These are all the things I was when I was heartbroken.
