Hate Me. |
My Last Goodbye
Paint me Pretty
so I can dance
under stars like gems;
and love and romance
sew me in stitches
and hide them under lace
so I can fill this void;
this empty space
Fix my heart
spare me the pity
because the sky grows darker
over where I am sitting
A guilty goodbye
leaves a bitter taste on your lips
and a threat in my ear
with your hands on my hips
Lovers to fear
and dreams to pain
but the taste of your skin
still drives me insane
lies and pills
kept me yours for a while
but the love was fake
and so were the smiles
So, goodnight, my love
wither and cry
because tonight, I plead
for my last goodbye
so I can dance
under stars like gems;
and love and romance
sew me in stitches
and hide them under lace
so I can fill this void;
this empty space
Fix my heart
spare me the pity
because the sky grows darker
over where I am sitting
A guilty goodbye
leaves a bitter taste on your lips
and a threat in my ear
with your hands on my hips
Lovers to fear
and dreams to pain
but the taste of your skin
still drives me insane
lies and pills
kept me yours for a while
but the love was fake
and so were the smiles
So, goodnight, my love
wither and cry
because tonight, I plead
for my last goodbye
