I asked God for an angel,

I wondered if He would ever send one,

I asked God for an angel,

One who was beautiful in body and mind,

I asked God for an angel,

One who I could talk to  and would actually listen,

I asked God for an angel,

One who could make me laugh when I was sad,

I asked God for an angel,

One who would love me for me,

I asked God for an angel,

And He sent you.
